Here
is a
unique opportunity to make your fall outing a true sportsman's
adventure. It combines two days of guided sport fishing and a day
afield,
hunting ringneck pheasants.![]()
Fishing is
for bass, northern pike and muskie, depending upon your
preferences and selected dates. Your days on the river begin with your
7:45 a.m. departure and lasts about 7 1/2 hours. Lunch is served on
board
both days.
Hunting is at
a nearby preserve, offering the most natural surroundings
hunters can experience. Throughout the year the fields are actively
worked
farm land, complete with active and residue corn, berries and root
crops
that hold birds all year. You'll hunt over pointing dogs,
accompanied by a dog handler. Your hunt entitles each hunter to four
pheasants,
dressed and frozen. Additional birds may be shot at the hunter's
expense.
Lunch at the clubhouse, following your hunt, is provided between 8/29
and 9/14.
Accommodations from 8/29 to 9/13 are at the Thousands Islands
Inn and include breakfasts and dinners from
its national award-winning cuisine. Safaris after 9/14 provide rooms at
the Inn but do
not include breakfasts
or dinners.
