Late September and October is a very special time in the North Country. As the islands burst forth in a color spectacular, fishermen often find their catches among the largest of the year.

For those intent on catching a prize St. Lawrence River Muskie, the trip can be in the form of a full two day Muskie Hunt. If more action is what you are looking for, bass and pike might be preferable, until the water cools to the point that they "turn off" for the season.

In response to the varied interests of our fishermen, we now offer this Safari, which allows anglers the option of fishing for just one species or mixing the days, fishing for two for bass and pike for one day and muskies for the other.

In September, bass and pike become voracious as they store up fat for the coming winter.  And every minute spent trolling holds the ever present chance of hooking and landing the "fish of a lifetime," a trophy St. Lawrence River Muskie.

The Safari includes 2 days of fishing for the fish of your choice or 2 day trophy Muskie Hunt and 2 nights accommodations in a local motel. Lunches are served on board both days and on Muskie Hunts we serve hot lunches and the boat his heated.
