The St. Lawrence River is widely recognized as one of North America's truly great fisheries. From pan fish, like yellow perch, to smallmouth bass, pound for pound the fightingist fish in fresh water, to walleye, great northern pike and muskellunge, the fish rich waters of the 1000 islands offer it all.

Now in our 35th year of catering to anglers from across the country and around the world, 1000 Islands Fishing Charters is widely recognized as the most experienced and innovative sport fishing charter service on the St. Lawrence River.

It's no wonder that in 2012, for the 20th straight year, we are one of only 15 charter services in N.Y. State and the only one in the 1000 Islands Region approved by the North American Fishing Club, the largest sport fishing organization in the world, serving more than 500,000 members.

     1000 Islands Fishing Charters is widely recognized as the most experienced and innovative fishing charter service in the 1000 Islands. Since 1978 we have blazed the trail for our industry. Innovations include the creation of an array of complete fishing trip offerings unique in the northeast including half day mixed party fishing trips, complete fishing trip packages including meals and accommodations and even a combination fishing/hunting safari including two days of guided fishing and one day of guided upland bird hunting.
    When you choose from any of our complete package fishing trips you will find your accommodations to be very unlike the average "fishing camp." Headquarters for all of our trips from June 8th to September 9th is Clayton's landmark Thousand Islands Inn. The Inn's recently remodeled rooms offer our fishing guests full private baths, color cable TV and choice of comfortable individual. The Inn's famous dining room is acclaimed as one of the finest in the region. The Inn's cozy lounge overlooks the river and is the perfect place to relax and exchange tall fishing tales after a long day on the water.
    Once settled in, the Inn's central location does away with the need to travel, except for a ride around the countryside, since all of Clayton's many shops and attractions are within a short walk of the Inn. Your guide and boat depart from just across the street.

* Credit cards are accepted for final payment between May 18th and September 10th. Deposits  for all reservations made 15 or more days prior to departure are required by check.
Credit card deposits are accepted only when reservations are made 14 or less days prior to departure. Final payment after September 10th is payable by check or cash.
